SSNAP People's Choice Award - 3rd prize

In august 2026, my piece, Pianissimo #1, was selected as a finalist of the Salt Spring National Art Prize 2025-2026. The piece was exhibited at Mahon Hall at Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, the from Sept 27 to Oct 18, along with other amazing pieces from all over Canada.

As part of the event, I was invited to an artist talk on Oct 9 along four fiber artists: Contemporary Fibre Art – the art world’s new obsession?

At the closing Gala in Oct 18, I gratefully received the news that my piece was awarded the 3rd prize of the People´s Choice Awards.

I am very happy and gratefull for the opportunity to have my work exhibited in such an important venue along a group of high quality artists from all over this diverse country.
